One of the more unusual features of Her Heritage is its active header.
We have already pointed out the six-level header at the top of every screen. Notice what happens, however, if you move the mouse cursor into this header. As it passes over any line that contains text, a blue highlight appears to indicate that this line is ╥active.╙
If you click on any active line in this header, a menu pops up listing that item╒s contents. For example, if you click on the line that reads ╥Her Heritage,╙ you get a menu showing the top-level table of contents for Her Heritage itself.
Once this menu is displayed, you can click on any item and go immediately to the topic represented by that entry. In the example above, clicking on ╥Getting Started╙ would return you to the start of this section.
Menus that are too large to fit on one screen end with an entry labeled ╥More...╙; clicking here brings up another menu with the remaining entries.
You can also click and hold down the mouse button to bring up a menu. If you do this, you should slide the mouse down and release the button when the mouse cursor is over the entry you want to select. (Some people find this easier than clicking twice.)
